Understanding Private Browsing

Wed, 08/25/2010 - 11:09

All modern browsers now include functionality to browse the web privately. When switched on the browser does not keep any records such as cookies or browsing history on your computer. Firefox conducted a test pilot study to better understand how private browsing is used. Interestingly they found activity surged at: lunch, after school / work, after dinner, late night. Unfortunately the study yet does not explain what people are doing so we can only guess. What do you use private browsing for? Read more about it on the mozilla blog.
