Energy Map for iPhone & Android, EDF Energy of the Nation

We created an immersive 3D environment which visualises energies of the tweets about the Olympics for iPhone and Android devices to support EDF Energy's 'Energy of the Nation' campaign. Tweets are assigned energies which are based on sentiment of tweets determined by an algorithm developed by Professor Thelwall. Tweets are then assigned energies according to how positive/negative they are and their location. These energies are then mapped on to a 3D map of the UK and interact with each other in real-time.  Users can also find and visualise the energies around them, as well as find out more about EDF Energy.
